RYAN'S LEGACY

          Ryan Robert MacCluen was a Police Officer who proudly served with the North Charleston SC Police Department. His life ended tragically in a car accident when his motorcycle was struck by a distracted driver. He is fondly remembered as a son, brother, cousin, nephew, and friend to everyone he served. From an early age he had a servant's heart. Whether he was volunteering to help others in his local community or  doing mission work in another country he could always be counted on to always put the needs of others before his own. 

          We are honored to carry on his legacy through a variety of community based initiatives that will continue to represent what he stood for as a human being. For those who knew Ryan, he was not defined by his occupation as an officer. Instead, it was a vehicle that allowed him to reach those who needed help the most in some of the most challenging ways.
